ive been going out after work like nobody's business..
its freaking tiring.. but somehow, i just need to "chill" outside of home.
who do i actually "chill" with?
belief it or not, they're my colleagues. it helps that we're working the same shifts & its easier/more convenient to make dates with them.
i'm really missing spending GOOD quality time with my girlfriends trust me.. but our schedules just won't click! FRUSTRATING NAK MAMPOS OHKAAAY!!! gawd!
my godsis is confirmed going to India for her attachment. im so very proud of her. this means more chappati for her, more sari cloths for me =) i might even give her a surprise visit.. (do my parents allow this? HELL BLOODY NO! but, dsnt hurt to try mah)
been taking non-sensical peektures which i'll just post up for memories' sake...

then today was dinner at BUGIS' swensens with anabelle.. the fondue was sinfully delightful.. oh the wonders of good food =)
speaking of food, our ward HOs are leaving us this sunday.. & they've been feeding us junk food. yesterday was donuts from the Donut Factory (i was off yday & they were kind enough to leave some for me. fyi, im a donut factory virgin so it tasted pretty good.. thank you very nice!) and today was Pelican Pizza.
do they think nurses are malnourished or something?? (i swear they're blind if they think that. hah!)
oh oh!! death defying news!! apparently, nic says im BIG. -_- define BIG lah saaaakkk...

we planned our date 3 weeks back..
ya-ya-to-the-papaya wanted to treat Nic to swensens & all..
of course the both of us super excited lah. (nurses are deprived of a normal life mah.. chet!)
so friday came..
we thought he overslept.. (eh, MAJOR possibility yo!)
fetched us at 5 plus. headed to The Cathay. watched bourne ultimatum.. me & nic only watched the 1st bourne movie. lyn ddnt even know who the heck jason bourne was! bagos lah tu...
and we heard good reviews about the movie from our colleagues, so why not..
ate B & J's before the movie. gossipped about who's who of SGH-ville. =)
got a little mama-drama after the movie. it was a seriously DUMB moment i tell yoo... but all in all.. it was a really fun date. i had 2 of my favourite people with me.
making fun of nic's balding hair has become 2nd nature to us, right lyn?? haha...
ok.. outing with kee tung is next =)

happening happenings...
met the babe after work last week & bought boxers. (which btw are just simply comfortable NAK MAMPOS!) highly recommended dok...
both of us had a haircut. (about freaking time!)
the super impromptu chill out slash pizza session we mad girls had for a looooong time. (minus one of corz. nisa, you were gravely missed!)
on another note, today is the 5th? 6th? 7th? time the godsis & I had to cancel our date. again. i have seriously lost count. like she said, i find this a joke too.. haha... simply hilarious how we can live so near yet feel so far away.. woman, you owe me BIG!

this is my 4th CONSECUTIVE afternoon shift on a sunday.
yes, like ive said before, my roster's pretty screwed up.
and i'm gonna be doing the same sunday shift for the next 2 weeks. damn happening riiite my life???
hence the reason I goodbye-d mad lah. haiz.. (fana, it ddnt help that u posted pics of our having fun together. aku terasa nostalgia sekejap. SNIFFS!)
contrary to popular belief arh (chey!), i kinda love working on a sunday afternoon. the pace is so relaxed. and the best part of it all is... catching up (more like bitching actually) with Ai-lin...
my conversation with her can go on like this..
scenario..
(ai-lin was pushing in the tea trolley into the pantry when the teaspoon fell)
me: what the....???ai-lin: omg! the spoon committed suicide!me: what? oh dear! that's sad!minutes later, when all's settled & we're in our swivelling chairs..
me: i can't believe the spoon committed suicide.. so did u give it a proper burial and a funeral?ai-lin: yeah.. it was grand. lots of visitors came. but then it RESURRECTED! i washed it with soap under tap water and it was revived back. me: wow! the spoon lived? im a proud surrogate mother. u have looked after my babies well. and u had the power to resurrect.ai-lin: I KNOW! me: now, all the spoon needs is some love and a good partner.ai-lin: yeah, lets get the fork & knife.we've had too many of these conversations to count. somehow, being sadistic is like second nature to us.. comes naturally you know.. it helps keeps us sane at work.. =)

i just got off the phone with the godsister.
it's been ages since we had a proper conversation.
fyi, this one was no where near proper.
our 6 mins conversation summed up to this:
a) we're both growing old. she's having dark rings.. i have resorted to SALON PAS koyok. TEROK!!
b) we feel like we have aged to 70.. as quoted from a friend, its like wrestling with the bones & muscles climbing the darn stairs. chet!
c) our looong awaited BIG date is gonna happen on the 15th. fuyoo!
anihoos, what can 2 bored, slightly corrupted, off-duty nurses do in the MO room with the ward HO???
he'll only be our HO for another week. :( all of us at A side will miss his annoying smart come-backs man. shits. and we owe him a Swensens meal. wat a 'kiam siap' doctor. CHET!!!

HAPPY NURSES DAY to moi.. the colleagues & all u nurses serving our red dot of a country =)
celebrated pre-nurses day (wth?) with the bitch yesterday.. yor-yor-orh wanted to tan at sentosa.. but then we ended up town-ing lah.. jeez! women.. SO fickle-minded.. (urs truly included, DUH!)
a day filled with food, walking, 2 movies,
more food, shopping, CAMWHORING,
more walking, bitchin.... ok, aku dah penat nak mampos!
oh oh oh!! guess who we met in the lift at cineleisure... ROSA!!! woohoo!! eh, we loved her the most back in 64 lah siol. (like u ppl know who rosa is lorh. kambing betol. chet!)
