the tok kadi's voice was so super soft that i had to rely on their handshake to know that abg yat's reciting his "halal" statement!

after nikah ceremony, we all went down to chomp food. while the newly-weds tukar baju. i love kak feny's baju colour can? so pretty! skarang aku rasa mcm nak kahwin. ok stop it. -_-
while waiting for the lift, kak feny told me "benda ini di kepala saya sungguh berat dech!"
tell me about it yo! i feel the heaviness for her. uumph!
in a span of about 5 minutes, we bantered, we halang-ed our own cousin, we had a good laugh & most importantly, we got 20 bucks! hehe.. and after that, we joined our own cousin on his journey to meet his new wife. yes, scream TRAITOR!! can't blame my new cousin-in-law fro being an indon with no relatives here, can i??
like it's not enough getting halang-ed from small fries like us, the big guns were next. & trust me, the oldies were difficult to pass yo! their demands were extreme! the torment my cousin must feel.. haha. the price he had to pay.
the cake was super keras nak mampos the tier almost collapsed. drama skejap!
everything was a blast.. in 3 days, im amazed at myself for my hardwork ala rewang maut to the point where i got seriously sick last monday. but in the name of family & jolly good time.. it was well worth getting sick over =))

tian ming & I finished our report at 12 midnight, so we're kinda sitting ducks. heheh. ming-ming is on the verge of crying due to boredom. we're both trying to read the 3 volumes of JCI 101 standard phamplets (sumpah ini benda mcm siak siol) and firthermore there's the JCI mock audit running ard the hospital. thank god i'm on night. all we have to do is make sure that the station look JCI enough. =)
but i may not be lucky during the real audit. fudge man! aaah.. shall i request for night??? hee..
anihoos, i've been procrastinating posting abg yat's wedding pictures. last sunday was quite the event actually. rewang maut, or so they called it. seriously MAUT siol! cause i woke up with serious flu & ugly sorethroat can?! till now man.. *cough, cough*
major highlights from the wedding:
- i got 20 bucks from "meng-halang-ing" the groom. padahal i'm from the groom side. hahh!! i know ur screaming TRAITOR! hah!- i got a kick out of being super busy bringing the berkats here & there.. arranging & topping up of the kuihs. i liiike =))- and of course photo-whoring with the other cousins.pictures soon lah eh.
the parentals are fetching me from work later coz im sending them off to jakarta. abg yat's marriage ceremony. now i really really wish i bought an air ticket. bummer. but its ok. all in the name of saving my buckaroos for the BIG-GO next year.
and let's welcome the start of my long awaited break =)))

HAPPY 22ND ANNIVERSARY!!

its always wonder & amazement to me & my brother how our parents made it to 22 years till now. like they always say, "love is blind. & i was stupid enough to have married your mum/dad"..
oh yes, we practically hear this everyday from them. through all the fights, the screamings, the banging of doors on each others' faces, the everything in our daily lives, they still managed to scrape through. & for that, i have eternal respect for their kind of love. and im still figuring out what kind of love that is up till today. like seriously!
gawd, im mean. hoho..
but then again, i WAS conceived on this very day 22 years ago (oh, go do ur math & dont u start puking coz this is true) so i get to feel special about this day too ok!
so anihoos, unlike the past years that we've been celebrating this occasion together with nice dinners at fancy restaurants, we instead had breakfast at tanjong pagar railway. (and we really wanted to know whats all the "hype" about the good food at railway which in my opinion, so-so lah)
wow the last time my brother & I stepped into this building was 18 years ago. and i still have a picture of my then 1-year-old brother wailing in the train cabin. hilarious! oh we were such cute little beings back then. hee..
so dinner had to be postponed coz as of today, its the beginning of..
THE WEDDING FIESTA.

let me break it down easy...
today: abang fir tunang. so we had to serombongan "merisik" to the girl's place which is like 2 blocks behind? haha. the good thing about dating ur neighbour. sep duit transport oi.
next sunday: abang yat (who is abang fir's younger brother) will be getting married. which literally means, rewang.. bersembang, the whole works.
the sunday after that sunday: abang yat's wedding in jakarta (he's marrying an indon lady) and by which, im not going. so car freedom! WOOHOOOO!!!
FUH!! typing THAT is already tiring. imagine the real thing!! ok, i shall be mama's money carrier. $$$$$$$$$$.. (whatever happens, ill run with that ever important bag 1st! haha)

yesterday morning, before i ended my shift, i bid my british patient goodbye. i had a special bond with her.
for the first time in a long long time, i became very attached to a patient. in our industry, it's definitely not advisable to put out that much emotions on the line coz well, they come & go.
but i cant help it. Patricia & her husband Tom made me feel appreciated for my work. it was always a joy to enter her room be it for parameters, dressings, or getting her to choose her diet. ill end up laughing like crazy with their wicked sense of humour.
to Tom & Pat, thank you for showing me that there's so much love & humour out there than what ive deemed myself to see. thank you loves =))

after much planning & little disagreements here & there, the MADgirls celebrated sally mally's advanced 24th birthday yesterday (minus nisa McBalls, again. but we did pay her a visit at her workplace! hehe.. & fana, i am matured ok. waving madly is just a sign that i missed her loads can. tsk)
initial plan was to surprise her at BPP sakura but sakura bubbled us by turning into another restaurant. bummer! so while we were happily thinking where to go next, boy were we surprised by the birthday girl by her sudden appearance at BPP. anjat ger-ger you..
aiyah, in the end, after some near misses and feeling-feeling james bond, we managed to surprise her at magic wok city hall instead. & i swear i ate too much chilli coz i ended up hatching "brown eggs" TWICE! dammit!
makan2 sesh over, we decided to melalak di cash studio. wasseh, aku karaoke sampai suara skarang serak2 basah lah. mampos lah aku pass report nanti.. ramli sarip or whaaaaat...

after a pretty chilled out shift at work..

i was just telling ibu yesterday about fossil, swatches, baby G watches ive been eyeing on coz i was really looking for a good dress-watch. & it ddnt help that ayah just bought a $600 watch yesterday. like what sak. tertelan balik air ludahku. $600!!!

i suspected something weird when ibu kept on asking me about the criterias of the watch i was looking for. so i told her this lah, that lah (seriously, for the last time, i wasnt expecting ANYTHING.) its just one of those girly chats i love to have with my mother. tak salah kan?!
long story short.. this was THE BEST SURPRISE i got in a looooooooong loooooooong time.

ever since she got sick.. i've missed someone to have crunch times with at work.

like the usual trip to town, we had our ayam penyet meal (let me tell you, they might as well keep a nurul & hidayah menu coz its the bloody same thing we'll order everytime. and our table will be MAHA full of food. heheh) oh & the avocado was EXCEPTIONALLY good today. i liiike =)
then we caught SHUTTER. ok, this is a story for me to share. memang lah kiter dua MAHA BODOH NAK MAMPOS. bimbotic to the max lah. like two buffoons in a cinema, ok u get the idea.
and as always, i wouldnt know what the heck im gonna watch till i get home & google the movie synopsis after i've watched the movie. i know, very bengap. whatever.
i heard of shutter being a horror flick (like DUH kan?!) so i really wanted to watch a chick flick BUT si mangkok tu nak try Shutter lah gitu. so aku pon mcm yor-yor-orh lah action tough. thinking that i wont be some weakling who screams in a cinema, that's EXACTLY what we both did. & right at the beginning of the movie, i told dayah "i'll hate you if i scream."
and we both screamed right after that. -_-
(fyi, we were hugging each other silly till my dear hot joshua jackson electrocuted himself. sadded i tell you)

so our last stop was borders where i got a nice surprise from TPI (yes if ur reading this, im still calling u that. i never did care, do i?)
