oh.. on a happier note.. i helped mum & dad at e stall today coz they had an interview for e NUS stall they're sharing wif a partner.. they were one of e 2 shortlisted. so when mum came back.. this was wat she told me.
"e interview was so scary! imagine 10 people staring straight at u.. luckily i went in wif ur dad. if he went in alone, dah terkencing jugak dier kat situ!"haha.. i was like wth.. but seriously, e qns they asked my parents were so unbelievable. its just for a freaking food stall man... oh but i guess its just procedures. & i heard them discussing abt not wanting e stall.. so yeah.. i think its for e best. i dont want them to work so hard animore. they're already in their 50s for goodness' sake! they shld be timang-ing cucu by now.. (ok, im soo not hinting that im getting married soon.. that'll be abt 7 years down e road hokay!) haha..
i might be going to kota tinggi this thurs. alone. to live with my aunt & uncle.. i think i need to destress frm this bustling city life.. i need e kota tinggi waterfalls man.. i miss it.. & ill be able to watch all e korean movies that i want.. coz my aunt is korean crazy.. thnx to her, i got addicted.. gee..

yday was e big happening event..
5 mad gerls & yat.. we did complete e whole 10km.. though there were protests here & there.. WE DID IT! haha.. e goody bag was worth e 4 bucks i paid.. hee.. im happy there.. e t-shirt design is nice.. im happy there too.. but im sooo not happy wen my soles started to hurt like crap! damn u sneakers! i shld haf just worn my sandals.. then maybe my bloody toes cld actually breathe!!
i was pumped up for e 1st few km.. but i think i died halfway wen i saw e never ending h'way.. i was thinking "where is e bloody U-turn????" gaawd! kept hydrating myself so that i wont faint! now, who in e world is gonna drag me back if i did rite? haha.. evrione was already red in e face, sweating.. fana even attempted to seek refuge in suntec.. tsk tsk....

me & bro decided to make use of his cinenow membership card to rent dvds we think is not worth to purchase with our meagre sum of money... so i rented e family stone, e cutting edge 2 (an ice skating movie) & four brothers..
family stone was seriously hilarious.. now i have more ideas on how to be extra mean & bitchy & sarcastic.. see, i told u teevee was good education.. it teaches u alot hokay.. haha.. four brothers is a must watch man.. seriously.. mark wahlberg is fuckin' cool.. its very detroit city.. living in a gangster, avenging deaths kinda movie..

im totally loving my patients..
let me tell u abt this one patient of mine whom ive nicknamed
"nenek jet li".. & this was how e name came abt..
this old lady, she cn only speak cantonese. & obviously im dumber den dumb when it comes to this particular dialect. worse part is, no one understands her coz her teeth is gone & she's speaking sideways.. (im trying very hard not to sound mean here).. rite, so shes supposed to drink this PEG water which makes her shit so she cld go for her scope e next day.. to our dismay, she REFUSED to drink it.. so no choice rite? wat else..insert a tube into her nose lah..
now.. e process of doing this was ultimately very dramatic. u see, this nenek apparently hasnt cut her nails in probably 3 centuries. & wen she saw wat we were abt to do to her, she started shouting/slurring wat sounded very much like
"ma mo ah.. ma mo.." only god knows wat she wanted.. seriously.. she kept on repeating this & wen i grabbed her hand to restrain it, she reached out & scratched me! dat tiger.. seriously.. so i got slightly pissed & really pinned her hand down.. she struggled & happily pointed her middle finger at me.. damn u nenek! & if dat wasnt horrible enuff, she started kicking her legs up! imagine my shock.. i thought she was all weak & limp! oh man.. i was so wrong lah.. though she was skin & bones, she came up wif some gd jet li moves man.. i was blardie awed.. seriously.. i was laughing all e way.. & i think she sensed dat i was laughing at her & received e most horrible of stares. wow man.. fierce ah nenek jet li..
even after e tube has been inserted, she continued her

ok, nuff bout that.. later in e night e whole family headed to my cousin's bdae bbq at west coast.. we just cut e cake & in e midst of bbq-ing wen there was a huge storm.. omg!! it was totally hilarious!! all seeked refuge in e 2 pathetic tents dat we set up..
me, mum & kak suhaila got e smaller one.. & while waiting for e storm, we TRIED to make ourselves comfortable.. haha.. im still laughing thinking abt it.. i used my twister mat as a cover for e bags & stuff & we sat on it. & kiter punyer selenger, we just realised our tent had HOLES!!! so i did what i thought was common sense.. i opened e umbrella IN E TENT itself so we were kinda sheltered lah.. haha.. kak jija & her bf (hes frm boston & very very hunky dory) started packing e bbq stuff asap.. & wen i thought e storm cldnt get any worse... water came into our tent.. so, we sat in 2 inches of water for abt 20 mins.. although, we were all drenched & soaked to e skins, i enjoyed it.. haha.. then mum & her sister started to communicate wif each other.. through shouting.. wat else! haha.. coz our tents were quite far apart.. & wat did they compare?
how much water actually went into e tent.. haha... makciks..makciks...
we didnt get to finish e bbq so i think there shld b an encore sometime soon..

currently, im a whole mess of emotions.
angry. happy. disappointed. contented. irritated. delighted.i actually miss crying. not crying for all the wrong reasons. but crying for e right ones. & today i did JUST THAT.
i cried cause its amazing how a 2 mth old baby who looks sooooo tiny can be sooo strong. he's my baby patient & he's going for a surgery tmr. he's such a tiny lil thing. i swear if u looked at him, u'd think he's a newborn. well, being premature & all, he is small & so is his airway. hence, he has trouble sucking his milk well.. evryday i look forward to seeing him in e ward.. & e icing on e cake is that his mum is super nice & friendly. so it kinda sucked that i wont b able to see him animore.. gd luck my baby.. stay strong... im praying for u...
so, im kinda enjoying my attachment at kk.. i get to play all kinds of games evriday.. haha.. be it word hunt, building thomas railway tracks, gameboys.. i feel like a kid all over again! kid's these days are so blessed. they get all kinds of high tech gadgets to keep them company in e hospital. back in e day, all e children only had a black & white tv to look forward to! gee...
