i had the funniest morning yday..
venue: woodlands checkpoint
people involved: the ICA malay dude, the mum & I
props used: MY passport
the malay dude thought i was a totally different person from my passport photo (in actual fact, it was only taken 3 years ago. like how much can i change in 3 years RIIIGHT?!)
then suddenly, he just looked at me & asked "take off ur specs miss.. now, selak ur ears so i can see"
EH HELLO??!!! EARS?? MY EARS?? ur comparing my ears now? gawd! the mother had the best laugh lah can. i was just plain dumbfounded! so i had to ask the fella..
"excuse me sir, do i look THAT different?"
his reply?? "oh, u look much younger in this photo"
in other words, he's trying to say i look old lah. bloody kambz!!!
i swear there's no difference lorh. & so i stated my defence that my passport is dying in 2 years & will have to eventually change the photo later.. so forget it. i think he just wants to make fun of me. the nerve of people. TSK!
