i had my first training leave today.. it was some IT course..

i swear these IT courses are just an excuse for us to catch up with old friends & bitch. like seriously yo!

boredom struck us pretty quick & we were actually entertaining ourselves by checking out friendster accounts. posting one idiotic comment after another. blog-hopping, etc, etc..

then came the part when we found out SGH offered a link to "languages"..

now.. this.. made us laugh so bad we were lucky we ddnt herniate!

note: do pay extra careful attention to the malay & hokkien version of the word, thank you.

and all these while we thought "chio bu" only means pretty lady.. tsk!

"bah bi" has a whole new meaning people!!!

Hokkien 101 babe!! (i love this freaking dialect. its so.. interesting, no?? ("wa sibey kang kor lah.. nahbey!!")

the joke lasted the whole damn day. and it got worse when tia (another fellow batch-girl) found out she had 3 days MARRIAGE LEAVE.

shock of the century can! just imagine.. getting marriage leave when u dont even know ur getting married! best part.. she smsed her bf asap & his initial response was a classic "WTF?"

so seeing that we really had nothing to do.. we helped her plan her "wedding". kenduri will be held at our houseman canteen.. red carpet all rolled out.. ambulance parked at the sides making kompang "kelepak, kelepuk" & we, the trustee kendarats putting $10 on our name tag lapels. what vivid imaginations we have..

oh wells, it turned out that her ward sister gave the wrong nurse her marriage leave. apparently their names are pretty close! scary to the mary dokk!! ni hal kahwin-kahwin ader sikit sensitip. dont pray-pray hor..

oh, kentalodeh to the max!

we ended early so me & fa decided to head to expo to check out the book fair. i ddnt even know about it. & oh my.. it's seriously over rated. maybe its just us.. we have too high an expectation for good books. chet!

this was not the first cute toddler we came across otw to expo. we're just tickled by their silly antics. seriously. they can irritate you yet when they wave a little goodbye to you, habes. you just melt.
