no amount of words can express how grateful I am to you. how happy I am just to see you smile, even though it's only through skype-ing. how cool you are to be so open-minded. how you can still make me feel safe here just by saying "take care sayang. i miss you so much and i love you". how you make an effort to call me every night just to make sure i am safe and sound.

i wish i could be back home just for a day to snug under your arms in bed and just be warm and comfortable.. i could say a million wonderful things you've done for me but i guess that'll take eons to complete anyway. thank you for giving birth to me. thank you for being the best mum a daughter can ever wish for. and thank you for being you.

i love you dear Ibu and i really really can't wait to see you in July...
